Default question

Hey everyone , I have a few question that didn't come up in a search so I am hoping some of you can assist me.

I am getting ready for my winter project, what I am planning on doing is dropping a 440ci LS7 shortblock into my 05 GTO.

I'm going to upgrade the tranny to a Perfomrabuilt Level 2 but I hear a lot of people go with the level 3 what is the difference between the 2? Will I still get the DD ability with a level 3 as I would with a 2? Or will it be to harsh a ride? The car is a DD and will see the track every so often but by no means is it a pure track car.

Thanks

The drivability is the same, The primary difference is the addition of 5 pinon planets and the blue plate 3-4 set . There are other small differentials they are covered on the website , But again from a drivability stand point they are nearly identical .Firms at light throttle getting progressivly firmer as you give more throttle
