Do ALL 4L60E's bolt up to an LS1 motor
I'm doing a swap with my jeep, I need a 4l60e out of a blazer that's has a 4x4 tail.
Question is will this work great with a 2000 LS1? will I have problems with the shift points between the ls1 and the 4l60e?

The tranny from a 4.3 Blazer will bolt to the LS1 (although you will have both the center bolt and the top "passenger side" bolt missing. Yank sells an adapter plate or you can ignore it depending what kind of power or shock loads you plan on subjecting this thing too. Leaving the bolts out on a 4 x 4 doesn't sound like a good idea, where the engine and tranny will be physically bouncing/moving around a lot).
The input shaft length and/or configuration is different so you will have to have somebody make you a special converter.
And lastly, the Blazer tranny is "wimpier" in every way than the "Corvette/F-body" type 4L60-E...fewer clutches, softer valve body, etc...its gonna fry before too long.
Outside of differences in shift timing caused by the different "model" 4L60-E, as long as you use the LS1 PCM to control it you'd be fine. Just get LS1edit and move the shift points around as required.
