Default A4's durability with stalls and headers?

What has been people's experience with reliability and abuse with stalls, and header set ups. I'm talkin stock A4s.

Well had a auto in my car after the heads and cam install on my car with a 4400 stall got it used with about 25000 miles and i put about 8,000 on it and it was some pretty harddriving many track passes about 200 on nittos pulling 1.7 60ft. but finally got it rebuilt last week after started slipping in 3rd.

your stock rear end is weaker, will probably go first. The more you hammer the tranny the less it will last(duh) but lots of guys are getting away with it. I wouldn't let it get in the way of adding headers and a stall, and get a big'un.

well i have a cooler and deep pan, but mine has held up to bolt ons for 3 years(3600 stall) and a cam for about a year also. As long as you change the fuilds the trans will like you

I've got about 28K miles on an ST3500 'verter, for a total of around 72K miles with no problems. My engine is essentially stock except for a modified TB, and I have a catback exhaust. I also run a trans cooler and change the fluid about every 20K miles (same for the diffy fluid).

im goin for it (once warrenty is up) the shops ive talked to say its ok just get a good cooler. i got about 9k on my car and i preload frequently no probs yet
