I'm thinking about picking up a used 4L60E from a 1994 Z28 Auto Camaro to replace the fried transmission in my 1995 Z28 Auto Camaro (not the one in the sig). Will these units swap directly? Also, does anyone have an idea for shipping weight/dims on this trans?

Shipping weight without converter aprox 130 lbs. swap you will need to maKE SOME minor mods to fool the PCM but it can be done.

 

Are you talking 'minor mods' that can be done with Tunercat or resistors? How tough would this swap be?
