Default transmission slipping

i can feel my transmission slipping when im cruising at about 40 miles per hour and also sometimes when i decelerate im thinking about buying this rebuild kit do yall think it would help

also would i need a vacuum modulator

my camaro is a 98 ss with a a4 and just hit 100k, i also have big plans for it soon i want to put a procharger on it thats why i want the street strip kit

That does look like a decent kit, But I am gonna ask have you built a 4l60e before or had experience with transmissions. We see alotta guys try it and when they are dont and it finally works right they have as much money and much more time into the trans than if they had just bought one out right. But if your insistant on doing it yourself that kit loks fine and a vaccume mod is a matter of preference but personally with the pro charger I would stay with the PCS

yea i might have my dad do it cause he has a mechanic shop and used to rebuild transmissions. will this kit fix my problems? and what does a vacuum modulator do?

The modulator just controls line presure, Its helpfull in situations where you have some chronic ine presure isue due to tuning , However I dont care for them other wise and particulary with a procharger as the lower cacum created during boost may force high line presure when its not needed, Iwould stay with the PCS IMO
