Default stall converter

i know how a stall converter works when racing, but how does it work while driving around town. i am looking for a stall for my 99trans am A4 with 3.73s. i am also going to get the mac mid lengths at the same time. so what would be the best stall for me. i do drive the car a lot in town

The Vig 3200 is one of the best converters around I think, if you drive around a lot in town, it really flashes to like 3600, I've driven a few setups, my car was originally a 6-speed, then switched to a TH400, started off with a 4500 converter, waaaaaaaaay to big I thought, mine flashed to 5000, now I'm running a P.I. 3500, its doing great so far, I'm going to see how it does with the procharger, I might get it re-stalled to a 3800 if I'm feeling its not hitting hard enough.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
