Default 4l60e???

i did an ls6 swap and kept the 4l60e.im pullin between 480-510 after mods. can it hold that horse without bing built????

Thats a hard qustion to answer, It likley will for a while , How long depends on how hard you are on it, That is over what its rated at but there are some lucky people out there who have managed to make one last unbuilt for a while.

well thanks, if i choose to rebuild or build up whats the best options cuz my buddy owns a trans shop but i would want to know what the hell he is doing

i'm still using a stock 4l60e with 473 hp. so far its lasted about 2000 miles since the LS2 was dropped in. it's survived about 50 passes, however it's slipping and i doubt it has much left. so my guess would be that you could make it last as long as you need it you stay out of the throttle

i'm still using a stock 4l60e with 473 hp, it's survived about 2000 miles and roughly 50 passes since the LS2 was dropped in. however it's slipping especially at full throttle. my guess is that you can make it last long enough to get it replaced as long as you stay out of the throttle.

unless I'm missing something you should be fine. With the mods in your sig, you would be lucky to see 360rwhp with an auto AND a LOCKED STALL during the pull.
