How to drain torque converter i have a 98 4L60e and want to service it with a new filter and oil (redline synthetic) but i dont know how to drain the torque converter ? how can i do this can i mix redline synthetic with stock stuff ?
Re: How to drain torque converter I think the only way to truly do it is to take it completely out (drop the trans <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> ) or hook the trans up to one of those complete flushing systems like Jiffy Lube uses to flush through the entire system, lines, convertor pan and all.
