I need to know everything to hook it up to a th400 trans. What hole the one thing needs to be in. Should the lights on the selector line up if it is right? Heres the problem I took it for a test drive(noone took it for one before) and it shifted fine cept it was hard to find N. Going to go home and try to stick it in 3 and nothing. Ok coming back and I lose 1-2 free rev. I fiddled with it while cost what felt like 1/2 mile and get into the place again and stop. I fiddled with the shifter and I have 1st and 2nd again but no 3rd. What could be wrong? Cable not set right or is it something else. I really like to know tonight if anybody reads this.
