I have a 94 camaro with a 4l60e. Well it just went out so i bought a 4l60e out of a 95 camaro. The plugs on the tranny are different...the overall lenght is a little different etc. Will this tranny work in my car? Is there a difference in the trannys or is the one i bought not really out of a 95 camaro? Please help thanks.

 

The 94 and 95 are different due to the 95 and later trannies having what GM calls a pulse width modulator. So no, it is not compatable in your 94 without modifing it.

 

Not sure why you bought that transmission in the first place unless you were trying to save a buck. Imo you should have rebuilt the one already in your car.
