Default 4L60E fluid leaking

Needs some help guys.......I swapped a 99 LS1 and 4L60E into my 57 chevy and used the original 'F' body trans yoke. When I lift the front of my car up about 2 ft for working under it, I begin to get trany fluid dripping from a small hole in the center of the yoke behind the u joint. It appears that fluid is flowing through the splines and coming out that tiny hole.! Is that hole supposed to be there and if so how do ya keep the red stuff in..!!??

Thanx for any help in advance.!! DK

That is not abnormal... Some RTV strategically placed in the yoke will solve it.

The RTV trick will do it but what you actually have it a truck yoke . Normally when this yoke os used theres a cylinder that goes on the output shaft inside the tail housing with and oring that prevents this .
