My 96 chevy work truck has this code P1886. My trans book says ECM short to ground detected on 3-2 valve assy poor elec connection...I read that this could be in the trans pan harness... Any one out there that this problem???

 

I would replace the 3-2 solenoid and inspect the internal trans harness along with wires coming from vehicle harness for cracks or freyed insulation.
