Default 2 questions (tranny issues help)

my first is about 2 months ago i had a b&m 1900 gvw cooler installed some time after that i noticed every once in a while the car seems to drop the wrong gear or something its odd. im not sure if the two are related. beacouse of this i figure i sholud check my tranny fulid level. so i guess im asking for the proper way to check the fluid in a 02 t\a if this is not it id suspect possibly theres air bubbles in the line and im wondering if this could cause the problem and if so how do i determine if this is the prob. finally in my list off dumb questions i am using a slp 85mm maf, from my understanding this is not a "ported maf" which is conterversial in autos for low line pressure right. (im assuming by proted maf they mean a hole drilled in the maf after the sensor right? and finally im also using 75% increase in shift firmness which was reccomended by hypertech could any of this be relvant to the mild tranny blips ive been expirencing?????

I would limit the HPP3 to 50%.

Tranny fluid is best checked warm on a level surface with the motor running.

I use 100% firmness with a GRANATELLI MAF. NO problems!
Are ur connections properly sealed?? Check lines back and forth from cooler to trans.
Also how many miles on tranny??
