electronic controller for transmission?
much like what the M mode in a C6 corvette, or pontiac grand prix gxp. or an A5 cadillac CTS V6(which is how i experienced it lol)
does such a system exsist that would let me plug it in and turn a switch, press some buttons, etc. and then it would let my transmission have a sport mode?
except better than the stock ones on the cars i named
like it would let me hold a gear until redline no matter how much throttle i gave it, along with performance downshifts too
kinda like how sequential manual gear boxes work in an automatic mode with the high performance mode on
i have heard of these things being possible with automatics in the thread about the new camaros having paddle shifters or not
i am not on here much, but i will certainly check back often now
thanks,
Tommy
The TCI controller can do what you're asking about. With the flip of a switch, it will go into manual mode and allow you to shift with a paddle shifter. You will have complete control over the shift points. It also has a mode that allows for different shift strategies at the flip of a switch. It can be like a performance/economy mode switch. The newest controller is 377500. The wiring harness for the 4L60E is 377502.
