Default TH400 and converter questions

I am looking into a TH400 swap for my 98' TA. I checked out TCI Transmissions and saw their Super Street Fighter trans. It's a automatic/manual valve body, 34 element sprag....more details from the site below:

"Typical TCI® Super StreetFighter™ transmission features: Red Eagle® clutches, Kolene® treated steel plates, Red Eagle®-lined, extra-wide Powerbands™, larger diameter servo assemblies, an improved lubrication system, new sprags/roller clutches (upgraded in certain models), enhanced hard parts where applicable, chrome-plated, TCI®-logo transmission pan, increased thrust capacity, higher line pressure for extra firm shifts & greater torque capacity with less slippage, as well as being TCI® factory blueprinted, inspected and dyno tested. "

What do you guys think about this transmission for a D1sc Procharger setup on a street/strip car??? It would be about 12#'s boost, 346 c.i., nothing too fancy. I'm still on the fence a little about the whole T56 to TH400 swap.

And the guy there spec'd a 3500 stall 2.2 str converter for a 232/240 115lsa cam (EPP blower cam), 3.73 rear gear. Opinions?

Thanks
Andy
