Transmission settings?????

I just had my tranny built and was wondering if there is any way to firm up the shifts,like to chirp second etc...I heard there were settings in the computer or something??

should i just het a hypertech or something,that kinda pisses me off to spend all the money on a tranny and have it hit as hard as it did when it was stock
