Will I like a th400?

My question is will I be upset if I go from a 4l60 to a th400? I drive my car on the street but not very much, I would like to go with a brake and good converter so I can come off the line on the bottle. I have a built 4l60e that only lasted 1500 miles and 9 track passes so I am kinda leary about putting another one in. Will I miss the overdrive? I don't take long trips with it it's only a weekend cruiser and strip car.

If u dont take long trips u will love it,i know i do.But they are bullit proof if they are built right,i went from an m6 to the th400 and love mine!

If its just a weekend cruiser and strip car you will love the TH400.
I have a spool, 4.10 gears and I drive 20 miles on the highway to get to the cruise/racing spots.
Honestly, for me it was the very best thing I have done to the car.
