Is this ok?? When I manually shift down to second gear from a roll and run through the gears? I have a shift kit but it seems like this would wear out the tranny if I do it often?

its will not damage or wear the trans as long as you are on the throttle, Now downshifting at zero throttle while moving may eventually wear on the overun clutch using gears to brake on decel.
