There are many possibilites. But the fact is there is more to building a 4l60e than a shift kt and clutches. What kinda power are you making.

I would consider getting a trans from one of the sponsors here us or one of the others I see so many people go though this.

There is more than just a clutch set that is used for a stronger transmission. A "stock" built 4l60 isn't going to handle a cam and spray for very long. I would suggest checking out performabuilt's website or some of the other sponsor's website and they will tell you what all goes into their different "level's" of transmission as well as horsepower/torque capability.

Why don't you give me a call today. If I am not available be sure to ask for John... he is my builder.

We can help you to understand what it is that you need in order for that unit to hold up to what you are doing.

And... just out of curiosity... Are you related to Jesse Chapa, Sales Mgr at a New Car Dealership?

Not much of a question that it is an issue with the build. There are several techniques that must be observered.

Simply installing the best parts is not enough in most cases... give us a call.

Not sure about his family ties... years ago I worked with the fellow I mentioned... wonderful guy!
