Tranny Temp Guage
I have heard do not tap into the pan, tap it into one of the cooler lines, my question is do I tap it into the line going to the cooler, or coming out of the cooler?
Who ever said not the pan?
I have a T.C.I. deep pan and I tapped my Cyberdyne sending unit right thru the side of the pan!

Its my understanding that the pan doesn't give out an accurate reading. I was looking at this website but the autos dont have a drain plug. Or do they and I missed it?

Well I am not sure why U would not do it and why Mike would say that!
All the fluid that the tranny uses is sucked up from the pan thru the filter and then dispersed thru the tranny! So if the sender that is tapped in the pan says the oil is 141* than I am happy! And with a stock everything and the amount of N2O I use I need to be kept happy!
