Is it bad for your transmission to make a full throttle pass cold? How warm should the tranny be before making a pass?

I am not sure Larry. I know when I run at the track the tranny temp is between 120-140. When I finish my run the tranny is 160-175. Hope this helps.

Check the TCI website. Seems I saw where they said to bypass the radiator cooler and go directly to trans cooler to keep the temp below 175.

Joshua,

120 sounds good. I wonder if winter temperatures and having sat for awhile will be a problem. Tranny might be 70 degrees in 50 degree weather after a cool down. Might have to change my cooler plumbing.

I have just started using Auto Tap and never knew what my temps were running until this summer.
