I have the 2800 vig.. I like the converter, but I think I might go bigger. I do not have heads, but I have a TR224 112 and boltons.... I think it is very streetable.....

Consider the Phoenix Pro by TCS (board sponsor). Same one I run in my TA.

Here's some info:

Based on your mods I think you should go with a little more convertor. The Vig numbers are rated conservativly so a 2800 is more like a 3200 and a 3200 is more like a 3600 and so forth.

If you intend on heads and cam and still stay a bit tame/streetable/conservative you will probably want something that stalls around 3500. The vig 3200 would get you there as would a yank st3500 as would a phoenix 3500.

If you have 3.23's in the car I say wait as long as possible to change them. There is nothing like the factory setup and alot of people have sucess with them.

I just got my vig3200 and love it! Its awesome when you stomp on it. I m glad i went with it instead of the 2800. I drive my car everyday 80-90 miles so i went ahead and got the 15,000gvw put in also.

You may want to speak with the guys at Edge Racing ... www.edgeracingconverters.com

I'm quite happy with the 9.5" Street Edge (2800 stall matched to my combo) and thrilled with their customer service.

Give 'em a ring.
