Default Tranny Cooler

Great mod even if you don't have a aftermarket TC. I still have a stock TC and added a cooler because my tranny would slip between 2nd and 3rd after the fluids got hot. Added the cooler and no more slipping.

Thank you Capt. Obvious!!

Okay, I'm just playing. You are 100% correct on the importance of an aftermarket tranny cooler with the addition of a torque converter or not. If anybody that is thinking of adding an aftermarket converter, you will be well advised to spend the extra $150 on a cooler AND a good fan. If you dont plan on a TC, adding the tranny cooler is just a good investment.
Play it cheap, and fry your transmission. Good call 99WS6TA!

I have an Flp tranny w/ Vig 2800 stall TC to go with my ati P-1SC, where should the cooler be placed and is it compatible with this tranny?

Buy a cooler with a fan on it and place it anywhere you like. Otherwise, place it on the condensor.
