A trans cooler definitly helps and increases the life of a tranny. Noticable gains as in HP or trans temp? Trans temp yes,HP I havent seen any. You can get a cooler through B&M for $50 that would be a 19GVW cooler or if you want a someting a little bigger go with the 24GVW.

The B&Ms are the way to go. Just remember there is no such thing as too cool. Get the 24000 GWV up front. When you really get things cooking you can always do what I do and run a pair in serial. I've got a 19000 and 24000 running together to offset the use of my Tranny Blanket on my daily driver.
