Default converter shudder

just got the SY3500 converter installed yesterday. great converter, just one thing. it seems after an extended period of driving at high speeds when you slow back down to a stop and start to go again at normal speeds the tranmission shudders on the 1-2 shift and a slight shudder on the following shifts. that is just at normal acceleration. why would this be occurring?

I had problems with my Yank 3000 before I installed a B&M Supercooler 24,000GVW. Now it is perfect. Actually it was the Tranny overheating. It goes into "limp mode" at 220 degrees.

fluid mark is right in the middle of the cross-hatched "hot" area, so thats fine.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> maybe my tranny cooler isn't flowing right??
