4l80e lockup?
4l80e lockup? Well I installed my 4l80e and it seems ok so far my have to make another pinion angle adjustment not sure but the lockup seems to like kick and kick out randomly and it also realeases when I let off the gas where the 4l60e would stay in lockup until the realease speed was met is there any adjustments I can do to reprogram that in. Does anyone have a 4l80e fbody file that I could take a look at. I could post mine if needed.
unfortunately, the 80e trans calibration file that most folks get unlocks on decel. I had hptuners use one from a 00 truck i think it was and it would lock/unlock like the 60. you have efilive or hptuners?
This might be useless since it's OBD1, but my 4L80E in my 1992 silverado unlocks on decel too, I've read the program file and have no idea whats making it do that. If I run it with a 454ss truck bin it does not unlock on decel. Nothing between the two bin files commands an unlock during decel.
