Default stock flywheel resurface Q?

i had my stock flywheel resurfaced and they took off .030 Is this alot to be removed??? I asked this because i installed a centerforce PP and disc and a shim behind the slave and still have problems.

clutch engages 1 inch off floor
drives smooth but cannot shift fast.

what im asking is .030 too much for the shim to overcome?

here is a rundown of what i have

stock flywheel resurfaced .030
new CF PP
new CF disc
stock master with drill mod done
stock slave
ram .150 shim

both master and slave have around 5k on them.

thanks in advance for any info

You might want to ask this in the Manual forums.

But, I would be curious to know what the shifting issue is... what do you mean by saying that you cannot shift fast?
