Pwm ?
Pwm ? I bought a 2001 som ss and im not sure if it has a shift kit or not. It hits the shift from 1-2 and 2-3 hard so im thinking it does but i want to make sure before I install my 3600 stall. Is there anyway to see if the pwm is deleted?
If your not sure the best thing to do is have it changed in the tune, Min and Max TCC duty as high as they will go. If it was done in the shift kit it will have no effect but wont hurt anything either.

Your line pressures may have been jacked up, shift times shortened, and other tuning done, making it feel like it has a shift kit. The only way to know is by having your tune downloaded and comparing it to a stock tune.
The other thing to do is look for evidence of a shift kit when the tranny is out for the converter install.
