Default 6l80e

Has anyone tried putting a 6l80e in a f-body. I was thinking about putting one in my wifes '00 Z28. Just wondering if anyone had tried, and how well it worked out. Let me know your thoughts.

I am not aware of anyone who has, I think a few companies are working on controllers for them but I havent heard any feedback on anyone actually doing it, I would imagine it would be a very exspensive and involved swap. Its is however from what I have read a very strong unit, I am not sure however if it would be enough of and upgrade to be worth the considerable cost of it,

If cost isn't an issue then do the swap along with the r and d required.
