turbo 350 install cost?

turbo 350 install cost? I have a lt1 and was looking into a turbo 350 tranny install. I called Century automotive in rosenburg. They quoted me 995 for the tranny and 700 for labor! Is that a little high or am I just cheap? I need your advice before I get high-grossed. thanks

Well anyways the th350 is not the only thing you need a shifter, the tranny and a stall. Is the price you quote with all these things I bet not, you will end up paying close to $1200 to get it, how soon till you have the car back, I just might know someone that will do it cheaper and get a better trans From TRANSKING IN GALVESTON

Hmm not that complicated you might need a new flywheel if you are going from a 6 speed to the Th350, you will have to measure out a new drive shaft, possible things that you might need, shifter, tans break button converter, tranny fluid , mounts for it , trans sending unit if you want to be able to see how fast you are going , the tranny of course and someone that knows how to put it in

Re: turbo 350 install cost? I have a th350 with a 4000 stall out of my old car lsitting around. Installing it is no problum I was just currious on whats involved. I was also told the driveshaft will fit with a 6 inch tail shaft?
