Default Question about C5 auto transmission

I have a C5 4l60E tranny and I want to use it in my LS1 swap. I have the bellhousing to mate the tranny to the motor and the tail housing to cover the 1 foot long output shaft. I know the C5 is a sealed tranny and therefore no oil squirt into the tail housing to lube the grease seal. I asked this question on here b4 and someone told me I can't use the C5 tranny. After some more thought I think I can use this tranny in my swap. This leads to my next question. What if I remove the seal at the back of the tail housing? Would this cause any problem? Thanks for any input.
