4L60e for you, you dont need a big dog trans (4L80 or th400) to handle what you're gonna throw at it. Just get your rebuilt and have fun. simple as that and ratched said it best, it will work well for 400rwhp but dont expect it to last forever if you up the power and abuse the guts out of it, thats life though so no big deal.

got the performabuilt transmission with a 3000 stall and drive pretty good and they were there when i needed them.
