how much stronger is a 4l65e compared to the 4l60e?

 

Well thats debatable the 4l65e has 5 pinion planets but at the same time the most common failure I have seen is the center stripped out at the splines and that parts the same, If you are asking if a stock 4l65e is stronger than a 4l60e then I would have to say yes a little.

 

in other words, its still "kinda" gay so get a 4L80 or a th400 lol
