Default 4l60 flexplate shield

does anyone make a flexplate shield that doesent require beating the living crap out of it to fit properly? I found out the hard way yesterday that the TCI one doesent even come close to fitting. (cant swing trans back up)

RCI makes a cheap blanket. It's about 100 bucks. CSR lists a shield on their web site. They are 300 bucks. If they even make them. It looks like a nice piece. I'm going to try the cheap blanket.
