4L60E 2nd gear slipping?

Default 4L60E 2nd gear slipping?

When I put the car in 2nd on my own and floor the car it just blows through the converter and then catches. Also does it when I floor it and it downshifts to 2nd, but not when I floor it and it starts in first.

What is wrong with the trans or converter?

I am not sure I understand what you mean, What happens if you just floor the car in D from a dead stop and when it upshifts?

shifts fine from a stop. just when the car downshifts into 2nd or i put the car in 2nd myself when it blows through the converter. make sense?

Not reallly. Can you be a bit more descriptive of the condition.... does blowing through the converter mean that the engine rpm's just climb and eventually hits the rev limiter?

Or does it mean you are experiencing poor acceleration whil in 2nd gear at a high rpm?

I have been speaking with him In PM aparently from a stand still WOT launch, the shifts to each gear are fine 1-2-3. However he says if he places the car in manual second and does the same it slips from the way I understand it and if he does kickdown to second from cruise it slips or as he says just revs. Just to help clarify.

YES.

but only in 2nd gear. If i get on it from a stop it will shift into 2nd just fine and keep going like normal. But not when I start in 2nd from say a 60mph roll. OR when I am cruising in "D"rive and hit the gas and it downshifts into 2nd, it does the same thing stated earlier then.
