Exclamation Tranny Line E-Clip problems

How do you get these stupid little ***** in there? I have spent forever trying to get them in and they continue to fall right out. 3/8" correct? Anyone have a pic with them installed?

we just put the clips in to the connector & pushed the tranny nipples in to the clips that already are in the connectors & no problems popped right in .....................
