Just broke my IV tranny!
I just installed new headers and was out "Testing" them and i took off at a light and bam! made some loud noise's and thats about it. So after that I towed to a friends to see what the prob was and I broke the output shaft right off! plus the fluid is really shinny so I think something else is fried. So I had the FLP IV trans since 10/10/2002 but it wasnt driven in the winter and olny in the last 2 months i have had a cam(350Hp)so im kinda pissed. time to call Chuck and see what he can do
Yah, I would be calling someone if I were you. I don't think pissed really would describe what I would be feeling like. Hopefully, you can get the trans fixed without a lot of trouble.

chuck is a great guy and stands behind his work. You cant entirely blame it on the trans yet because you dont know what else may have gone wrong. Good luck with the situation, i hope it all works out ok for you.
Since it's 2002, I presume that there was nothing wrong with your stock tranny ... I've seen so many people, replace a perfectly good stock tranny in anticipation of making big power, with a "hardened race tranny" only to have the "hardened race tranny" crap out almost immediatly.
I've got 31,400 miles and 500 passes on my stock tranny ... the last 80 on H/C @ 403 rwhp ...
I've seen only one stock tranny break, was after 70,000 miles and 600 passes - cammed car with a ST3500 stall and nitrous ...
