Tranny slipped twice.

Tranny slipped twice. As the title says, the stock tranny slipped twice on me before I stopped trying to spray through the shifts. Is the damage already done? It has 30k oringinal miles on it if that matters. On motor it seems to be fine. Thanks

What is the fluid level and fluid condition?
And yes, spraying through the shifts is detrimental to the clutches. It is possible that they have been compromised. But, no way to know for sure unless it is dissasembled for inspection.

Fluid looks good, and no burnt smell. I recently read that the trans should be in 4th for the 2-3 shift. Something about more line pressure. Any truth to that?
