Default Need help on what to do

First of all my tranny slips when its in second gear. Now i know that its probably the 1-2 accumulator and spring or my bands are going out. Now this is were i need help. Local tranny shops want to charge me between 2000 and 2900 for a rebuild, that comes with a 3 year waranty that includes labor. Now should i just get it rebuilt or go with a company like performabuilt and order one of theirs? I have been looking at their level 2 4l60e but how street able is it? This is my daily drivin car so i drive it everywhere. I like to shift it myself so i want it to be able to survive for along time. It says its rated to 700hp, the car is all stock for right now and that will change later down the line. Now the reason im hesitating on getting one is because the waranty is only for 1 year. Has anyone have any problems with the transmissions from them? Will it be ok to run a level 2 in a stock car? Thanks

Well I will tell you that no builder local or here can claim no failures , But I can tell you that 1st make sure the local shops 3 year warranty dosent have a "performance use clause" But I will also tell you us and any sponsor here , preferably us. lol would likley be a better choice. A one year warranty in a performance application is very good, Many shops as I said exclude that in there warranty with many IF, AND or BUTS.

when does your sale end? also what is the stock stall? i was looking at the one that came with 1800 to 2000 stall.

I dont know when the sale ends they will let me know when it is and the stock stall is around 1400

one more question, How does would the tranny hold up on long freeway trips? I know its gearing is the most to do with it but would i need to worry about it get really hot. I plan on running the biggest tranny cooler i can buy.
