Transmissions acting REALLY wierd. I have a performabuilt tranny that hasn't really caused me much of a problem until now.
Lately I noticed it starts shifting REALLY hard every once in a while. Every time I think the fluid may be low so I check it.
Its never low, but checking it makes the problem go away. Its as if I'm releasing some type of air pressure buildup that causes it to shift hard.
I don;t know whats going on, but the harsh shift is really annoying.

Shifting really harsh intermitantly may be a control issue. Do you have a check engine light on or have you scanned for codes? Give me a call anytime and we can discuss it. Generally and intermitant shift complaint is and electrical issue. You got yours around a year ago ?
