Default Install Yank 3000 and now setting a misfire code?

Is there anyway to raise the idle without LS-1 edit?

Will drilling the TB help?

The car also dies once in a while at idle.

What should I do?

Thanks

how long have you had the caonverter in? When i first got my ST3500 it would die often at idle until i had given it about 20mins to relearn the Converter. I am not 100% sure why it does this but i think its got to do with the lighter weight of the aftermarket converters. Mine never set a misfire code but i would guess that its setting it off from trying to idle so low. my car would try to idle at 250rpm then shoot back to 500 then to 750 while it idle searched. if you set the idle higher using the throttle body you will get a idle too high code. The only way to reliably do it is to have LS1edit or a predator programmer to raise the idle.

I was going turn the set screw a little, all I need is maybe a 100 rpm's higher.

Do you think that would set the code?

Also it only set the code once, I had it cleared and it hasn't come back.

But it still dies once in a while.

I've had the converter in the car about three weeks!!! (800 miles)

Thanks for the help. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
