why does Yank not recommend thicker trans fluid? I'd like to tighten my converter 200 rpms. why wont Yank recommend going with a Ford ATF, type F, whatever fluid? trans temps?
No its because Type F does not have the friction modifiers that dexron does, and you may end up with converter chatter issues on lockup apply
