Just one last suggestion, place the temp sensor on the outlet of the trans fluid line by using autometer manifold gauge, is much more accurate. Remmeber you want to see what the trans fluid temp right after it's done doing it's job by exchanging friction to heat. It will be much better than placing in it on the pan "IMO"
