locking converter in 2nd???

My reasoning is this, with my 150 dry shot I have to max out my MAFT and because of that my car loads up and won't rev past 4000 rpms. With my 4400 stall the tires aren't spinning very much at all with only 4000 rmps. So I thought if I could lock up the TC it would give alot of extra speed for my burnouts. I guess I'll have to find another way around it. Thanks for the help.

I think I am missing something here. I am at 6000 rpm in second when doing my burnout. What are you at 4000??? I also rev it a couple times to clear it out before I stage.

Anyone else care to chime in? If you did lock your converter it would bog your engine even more. I would go get it checked out and retuned...
