153 tooth flexplate
Installing a 2007 LC9 Vortec 5300 in my Land Rover Discovery and need to replace the stock 168 tooth flexplate with a 153 tooth flexplate and correct starter. Reason: the 168 tooth plate is too large diameter to safely go inside the Rover ZF auto trans bellhousing.
Does anyone out there know a good part number (OEM or Aftermarket) for a 153 tooth flexplate that will bolt up to the GEN IV engines? And what about a starter? I've done searching on this and haven't found anything, so any info would be good at this point.
Thanks,
Richard
McLeod was working on an adapter for mini starters (153 tooth) for manuals to use, not sure if it was released or not.
