Converter won't UNlock
Converter won't UNlock The truck is an 06 Trailblazer SS awd. It has a built 4l70E with a single disc PTC 3600 stall. This am I went to take the truck out and noticed it was *******. I looked at the Dashhawk and noticed that the converter was in full lockup at idle. I drove it down the road a little and it would not unlock. I get it back home and unplug the neg bat cable and the tcm plug. After I plug those two things back in the truck is ok. Everyone that I have spoken with has said it has to be a command issue, meaning ecm/tcm, but I replugged the original tcm in and it works. Any ideas guys? Maybe a hiccup in the computer. The battery was dead for a night prior to this happening. Thanks for any ideas. Jamie
Well they are right since it showed locked its a comand issue . Odd hickup though.
