Just the mount made that big of a difference huh? Well Im just waiting for the flexplate to come in. After i install im hoping i should be in the clear. Just wondering but you wouldnt happen to have looked at your flexplate while your engine was running by any chance? does it spin perfectly flush and true?

no i didnt go into it that far.............just figured that the tranny mount was the cause of the problem i only changed the verter and the mount so i decided to investigate one or the other, and repaced it........man and when i say i had a huge vibration it was horrible, shook the steering wheel, center console to peices from any rpm. Even in park, and the whole car felt like it was gunna fall apart! Concider looking into a 20 dollar tranny mount from napa, or part number A2817 from autozone (or the oem from chevrolet dealershit which will cost u 91 dollars) before u go any farther. I was under the impression that my verter was unbalanced, or i had bent the flex plate. just a thought.......but your case may be different! Put your stock cross member back on with the stock mount and see if it helps?

New Verdict.. Well YANK was 100% correct as far as the vibration issue. For some dumb reason GM put two little ears that hang down on the stock trans mount. With the new YANK cross member those ears hit the brace and caused a crazy rumble affect in the car. I should have paid more attention. Just didn't crossed my mind. Thanks YANK for the tip! No more Vibrations and I'm loving the SS4000. Perfect Verter

Actually i got it off ebay from raceparts store. I typed in ls1 flexplate and it came up with a hawks racing one. Its SFI approved double welded and zero balanced. plus thicker with .125 thickness instead of stock .075. Honostly i think its the same company that makes B&M flexplates it looks identical. got it for 76 shipped! I have ordered other ls1 related items from this supplier off ebay they havnt let me down yet
