Default need help??? A4 diagnosis problem.

ok well, my I have had this issue for a few months now, and it has been driving me insane. It starts breaking up/sputtering real bad starting at about 10psi half throttle around 4K or full throttle....it feels like its a real bad misfire but since this has been going on I have replaced my plugs, wires, coils and even my ICM and non of it made it any better/worse....When I floor it, starting around 4K rpm's....the car will sputter so bad it literally wont accelerate any faster, my rpms dont rise and my boost starts to fall down...but the weird thing is, on the highway from a 80 roll, when my car is at about 4900 rpms, when I first go WOT, it will do it for a second then it will pull hard all the way to 120 without a sputter...but that it the only time it wont act up. So it only does it between 3900-4900 rpms at 9psi+.....what I would like to know is if this is my tranny slipping?? I have never had a tranny go bad before so i wouldnt know....and this is my stock tranny still (its been lightly slipping for almost 2 years now but havent had the money to get a built one yet)

If your transmission were slipping then you would see RPM fluctuations that you are not talking about.

The only way to find out what is going on is to have the PCM scanned and then do some data logging while it is symptomatic. Only then will you know if it is spark, fuel or oost.... or neither!
