Default Installing new slave in my '98 formula

I need some instructions on this. I have a Chilton's manual for a manual for up to '97s, will this work for my '98? Are the T-56's the same between the years?

Are there any good places to look for information on how to do this?

The '97 manual will not work for this. The LT1s had an external slave, while the the LS1s have an internal slave. To change it, you will need to pull the transmission. Once the tranny is out, it is only 2 10mm bolts that holds the slave cylinder to the tranny.

If you need some info on how to pull the tranny out, let me know.

Heres one quick tip for removing your tranny that will male it a whole lot easier....Remive the trans from the bell housing first, then the bell housing from the engine. It makes it so much easier to get to the top bolts. Good luck.
