Default Need a new tranny any suggestions?

I need a new tranny in my 2002 Z28 Camaro. My car is a 2002 Z28 Camaro A4 with Trickflow 215cc heads milled to 62cc, Harland sharp LS1 shaft roller rockers 1.7 ratio, 232/236-642/612-114LSA cam, FMS chrome-moly hardened 5/16" push rods 7.500", ARP hex head bolts, FMS ported oil pump, LS6-2 timing chain, 30lb SVO injectors, SLP 85mm MAF, all free mods, Hooker longtube headers and y-pipe, Magnaflow catback, PTC 3600 Stall converter and dyno tuned by Allan futral. It dynoed 423rwhp with a slipping tranny. Well the 3/4 gear finaly went out today (been slipping for awhile now). I was thinking of going with a th350 just to save a little cash. I am looking for the most cost effective way to either repair my tranny or buy a new one. I am not trying to start a bidding war of any kind but just looking for the best route to take. Thanks for all your help..

I would ask that you take a look at our level 2 4l60e. I only suggest 3 speed autos if you are making a strickly drag car.

I do run the car on the track from time to time with Drag radials. Never ran it with the new setup yet but it should be somewhere in the low 11's. I don't mind losing the overdrive since this is not my DD!! I also hear of people having more trouble with the 4L60E and don't want to keep pulling the tranny out for repairs!!

You hear of more people having problems with the 60e for only one reason, THERE ARE MORE 4L60Es . The 350 is not alot stronger than the 60e . I hear this alot people say of I am allways reading that people have trouble with there 60e built or not. but when you think about it , Its the only Trans thats been used in GM car RWD aplications since 94 so there are a bunch of them , A well buiit 60e should survive at you hp. We have cars running over a year in the low tens with them . I am old enough to remember when everyone was saying the same about the 350 when it was the most comon trans on the road

Well, what would you recommend? I talked to a few places (and everyone allways trashes the other guys craftmanship) and it seems that the prices are all way apart. I had a local trasmission shop qoute me $3250.00 for rebuilding my 4L60E. There are other sponsers on here that have them built for $1800-$2600. I also called thunder racing and they said they have one that would handle the power for $1600. So what do I do? I know the best isn't always the most expensive but I just want the best tranny for the money. Like I said, If I buy a tranny, have it shipped and it keeps breaking on me. Than that isn't the most cost effective solution. The cost of pulling it out and shipping it back starts to get up there after a while!! I just want to buy a reliable transmission that will work with my setup..
Thanks again.

You will never here me say anything bad about our competitors in this forum in fact any of us can build you a trans to do the job.
I would recomend our level 2
Here are some videos of some customers running the level 2 and 3 ironically the fastest is the transam and it is a level 2
